4. What is the difference between a NEAMAP survey and partner survey?
   • NEAMAP official surveys operate using the exact same specifications for gear, environmental and biological sampling. Conversely, partner surveys do not operate with the exact gear and sampling protocol as the official surveys, but the operation does adhere to the NEAMAP criteria and has been reviewed and approved by the NEAMAP Operations Committee.
